DISK ATTRITION
MILL IN-LINE GRINDERS
Since 1995, Disk Attrition Mills have been used in a host of applications involving
the grinding of solids contained in a liquid slurry. The machines can be configured
with stator/rotor combinations to match individual process requirements. Some
of the many applications where the Disk Attrition Mill is used include: environmental
industry, pulp and paper, oil and gas exploration, rendering, chemical industry,
refining & petrochemicals, sewage and wastewater, granulated rubber, agricultural
waste, paints, pigments, dyes, and inks, food products, rubber and plastics,
adhesives, glues, and varnishes, asphalt emulsions, fibers and textiles.
SUPERBLENDERS
In 1993, the SUPERBLENDER got its start in the environmental industry grinding
hazardous waste into a liquid fuel product. The machine has never been surpassed
in the effective sizing of bulk quantities of solids in the severe service demanded
by the environmental industry. However, there are many other applications for
which the SUPERBLENDER are suited. They include: pulping waste paper; asphalt
shingle and felt manufacture; sizing municipal waste; granulating rubber; processing
agricultural waste; medical waste; grinding ship waste; waste volume reduction;
the blending of bulk quantities of chemicals, powders, and liquids; and many
others.
MAGNETIC
TRAPS
The MULTISHEAR magnetic trap can be used to remove ferrous metals and heavier
tramp materials from any liquid stream. It can protect the MULTISHEAR equipment
as well as a host of other process equipment such as pumps, filters, heat exchangers,
etc.
IN-LINE SHREDDERS
In-line shredders are used to protect pumps and other process equipment from
plugging due to oversized solids carried in the liquid stream. Applications
include municipal sewage treatment plants; hazardous waste processing; waste
water processing, chemical manufacturing; and many others.
BATCH DISPERSERS
Batch dispersers can be used in any tank that requires high energy mixing and
dispersion of the contents. This includes liquid/liquid mixtures as well as
liquid/solid mixtures. Applications include chemicals, pigments, dies, adhesives,
paints, varnishes, emulsions, oils, and a host of other materials.
